I want to assure you that none of this information has been filed with IRS.  We will not file anything with the IRS until we have cleared up all the issues.  If you would like a copy of your correct 1099 we can PDF a copy to you or you can wait until we mail them out shortly.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

John, I did receive letters from Amazon today.

 

a)     They did not include corrections to the $232,945.66 batch of 1099-MISCs I received last week

b)    They did include a new stack totaling $610,508.83

 

So, the total of the 1099-MISC statements I have received from Amazon is $843,454.49.  Since I only received $187.69 from Amazon in all of 2009, I will need Amazon to complete payment and deposit the outstanding balance of $843,266.80 in my checking account immediately so I can pay taxes on the money the IRS thinks I made.

 

I’ll be watching my Bank of America account and will confirm Amazon’s payment once it arrives.
